A Conversation with God

Conversations with God

When I hear what I believe to be the voice of God, that still small voice inside, I have still asked myself many times whether it is I or the Lord speaking. Then he will say something funny or use language or an expression that I would never use. This helps me to be confident that I am not having a one-sided conversation.

One night I had a dream that I was waiting for someone important to me. For a long period of time, I sat at a table on the deck of a wooden structure that had many rooms, hoping this man would show up. I then decided to look for him. I went from room to room, upstairs and down. I finally realized he was not coming. Disappointed and confused, I felt deceived.

This dream left me with a strong feeling of abandonment, so when I awoke in the morning I asked the Lord the meaning.

He said, “Now you know how I feel when you tell me you are going to do something and then you don’t show up.”

This was a profound realization. I had promised to start the Lord’s book for him and had found many excuses not to start.

I apologized and asked him to forgive me. I then started writing this book as I had promised. Finding-Revelation-Monica-Broussard-ebook/dp/B072JTXVMP
